Jessica Padilla Hernandez was born and raised in a small, rural community in central Mexico. To provide her with opportunities, Jessica's family made the difficult decision to uproot and immigrate to the United States. Growing up an immigrant, she often helped her family navigate their new life; This enabled the development of a deep drive for helping the disadvantaged, marginalized, and underrepresented.
Her work in nonprofit communities began as a Kennel Technician at her local Animal Shelter. Through the years, she worked directly with the public and community. Jessica enjoyed planning, hosting, and executing events to bridge, and bring together, vulnerable communities for mutual benefit. Thanks to this work, she gained an awareness of the needs of her local animal rescues, low-income housing communities, prison reform programs, drug rehabilitation programs, elderly assisted living centers, and others.
Jessica is currently working to further her education in the field of Psychology. She feels hopeful that this will enable her to positively impact lives. Most importantly, Jessica plans to use her voice to advocate for and bring relief, assistance, and warmth to those serving their communities.
